The Lord Gives Dominion to the King.

A Psalm of David.

1 aThe Lord says to my Lord:
bSit at My right hand
Until I make cYour enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
2The Lord will stretch forth Your strong dscepter from Zion, saying,
eRule in the midst of Your enemies.”
3Your fpeople
Lit will be freewill offerings
will volunteer freely in the day of Your
Or army
power;
iIn
Or the splendor of holiness
holy array, from the womb of the dawn,
Or The dew of Your youth is Yours
Your youth are to You as the ldew.

4 mThe Lord has sworn and will nnot
Lit be sorry
change His mind,
“You are a ppriest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”
5The Lord is qat Your right hand;
He
Or has shattered
will sshatter kings in the tday of His wrath.
6He will ujudge among the nations,
He
Or has filled
will fill them with wcorpses,
He
Or has shattered
will yshatter the
Lit head over
chief men over a broad country.
7He will aadrink from the brook by the wayside;
Therefore He will ablift up His head.
